Enjoy the world of the Greek kitchen in this special cooking lesson on the beautiful island of Mykonos.
Your Venture Ashore representative will meet you at your cruise port where you will board your private transportation.
Your journey will start as you travel from the cruise port to the local market, where you will meet the local farmers offering their sun ripe organic vegetables full of flavor. Here you will purchase your vegetables and make your way to a local restaurant, where your cooking class will commence!
Meet your experienced cook who will give you an introduction to the workings of a Greek kitchen as you start to prepare your meal. During your class you will be hands on as you make some traditional Greek dishes- Tzatziki, Eggplant salad, Greek salad, Saganaki cheese and Moussaka.
With all of the cooking done you will hang up your aprons and enjoy the fruits of your labor, as you sit down and enjoy your meal which will be accompanied by the best of the local wines.
During your meal learn about the culture of the Greek kitchen and the wines, as you end your day with a dessert and Greek coffee!
Now your tasting experience has come to an end, board your transportation for your drive back to the cruise port in plenty of time for your ships departure
