Your representative welcomes you at your cruise port, where you will board your private transportation.
You start with a panoramic drive to Mandraki Harbor, viewing the three windmills near St Nicholas Fort, the new market and the Public Administration buildings all of which reflect the history of Rhodes Town.
At the entrance of Mandraki Harbour get your cameras ready for the view of the two statues of the deers where it is believed the Colossos of Rhodes once stood.
Your drive continues to Monte Smith once the Acropolis of Ancient Rhodes. From the tumbled massive pillars of the temple of Athena, the view encompasses the Temple of Apollo, the stadium of Diagoras and the port.
Entering the fortified city through the Amboise Gate you will walk to the Grand Master Palace, and continue down the Street of the Knights, paved with colorful marble and superb mosaics, past the medieval towers.
With free time to spare you will be able to take in the beautiful town and be dazzled by the variety of small shops selling everything from handmade jewelry and fine leather to handicrafts and souvenirs.
You will board your transport for your return journey back to the port, in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
