Your excursion begins just outside the walls of the Medieval Town of Rhodes, where you’ll admire a fascinating blend of Byzantine, Ottoman, and Italian architecture that tells the story of the island’s rich and layered past.
We continue to the historic Mandraki Harbour, where tradition holds that the legendary Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood proudly at the entrance. Nearby, visit the magnificent Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, the town’s cathedral. This impressive three-aisled Gothic basilica features a wooden roof, stunning Gothic-style wall paintings by Fotis Kontoglou, and remarkable chandeliers that create an atmosphere of grandeur and devotion.

Driving toward the northernmost tip of the island, we pass the Aquarium of Rhodes, an ideal stop for those curious about the marine life of the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean seas.
Ascending to Monte Smith, named after Sir Sydney Smith, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and coastline.
Here lies the impressive Acropolis of Rhodes, where you will explore the remains of the Temple of Apollo, the ancient Greek Stadium, and the Amphitheatre, powerful reminders of Rhodes’ classical heritage.

Your adventure continues with a picturesque 35-mile coastal drive to Lindos.
Along the way, glimpse charming villages nestled among silvery olive groves, an authentic taste of island life.

We pause at the stunning St. Paul’s Bay, where St. Paul is said to have landed in 51 AD to spread Christianity.
From here, admire the dramatic coastline and the nearby cave featured in the classic film The Guns of Navarone.
In Lindos, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Wander through whitewashed alleys, browse local boutiques, savor traditional flavors, or take a donkey ride up to the majestic Acropolis of Lindos. Whichever you choose, you’ll have countless opportunities to capture the beauty of the white village, golden sands, and breathtaking sea views.
Next, enjoy a delightful lunch at a spectacular seafront Greek restaurant, a culinary experience sure to please your palate with authentic Mediterranean flavors.

After lunch, we visit the elegant Kallithea Springs, renowned for their therapeutic waters and striking architecture. Stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, admire intricate mosaics, and take memorable photos in this serene coastal setting (approximate stay: 30 minutes).
Upon returning to Rhodes Town, you may choose to be dropped off at your original pick-up point or near the gates of the Old Town for further independent exploration.
