Overview
Embark on your private walking tour journey directly from the port, where you will walk into the heart of the old town, where your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will stroll with you along the narrow streets lined with the history 18th century buildings, ornate churches and refreshing fountains.
As you walk through the busy streets of Korzo (pedestrian promenade), point your camera to the picturesque landmarks such as the Leaning Tower which tilts at an angle and is located right next to the church of St. Mary of the Assumption. Be sure to have your camera ready to create some amazing memories!
You will take a short stroll through the local markets and take in the spectacular Croatian National Theatre, which showcases dance, theater and opera, here you will enjoy the surroundings and sights amongst the theatre, have your camera ready!
As your walking tour comes to an end, you will have the choice to explore more of the old town or you can walk with the guide back to the cruise ship. The distance from Korzo to the port is very short and will be approximately a 10 minute walk.
Itinerary:
- Depart from Rijeka Port
- Guided walk through the Promenade (Korzo)
- Photo stops at Leaning Tower, Church of St Mary of the Assumption
- Visit the local marketplace (approximately 30 minutes)
- Stop outside the beautiful Croatian National Theatre
- Return to the port or explore the old town on your own
