Overview
Ride the open-top bus tour to the National Gallery of Iceland and view ongoing exhibitions showcasing cubist, abstract and figurative works. Peruse the gallery shop where you can purchase artworks and souvenirs. Visit Laugardalar (Hot Spring Valley), the major centre for sports and home to the largest outdoor thermal pool in Reykjavik.

For sports enthusiasts, the city’s main sports stadium is located in Laugardalur valley. Nearby is the Laugardalsholl arena, a multi-purpose venue which presents sports events, live music, exhibitions and was host to the famous 1972 World Chess Championships.
Admire The Pearl, a landmark building with a grand hemispherical top, and browse the shops on the fourth floor. Dine in the revolving restaurant and cocktail bar which completes a full turn in two hours and offers sweeping views of Reykjavik. Hop off at The Hallgrímskirkja, the fourth tallest architectural structure in Iceland. This impressive building is visible throughout the city.
Admire the grand pipe organ with its 5275 pipes and take in spectacular views of the city and surrounding mountains from the tower. Shopaholics will delight in Kringlan Shopping Centre with its 150 shops and restaurants. Spend the evening at the multi-screened cinema or theatre which are in the vicinity. Cruise guests will be able to board the City Sightseeing Reykjavik buses at the cruise terminal, Bus Stop 14 Skarfabakki Harbour

This bus stop is only serviced during the summer season (May-Sept) when cruise ships are in the dock. During the winter period, guests will have to make their own way to City Sightseeing Bus Stop 1 Harpa Concert Hall

Guests are reminded to exchange their purchased ticket for their hop-on-hop-off ticket with the City Sightseeing staff or bus driver upon boarding our buses

Please make sure there is the Correct City Sightseeing Company applicable to your voucher when boarding on occasion, other sightseeing companies have accepted the purchased ticket and charged the customer once more

Please make sure you only exchange your pre-purchased City Sightseeing ticket with the City Sightseeing staff in the red uniform or directly with the driver on the bus, as seen below. Other sightseeing companies have, on occasion, accepted City Sightseeing pre-purchased tickets and have then charged passengers extra!

There are no wheelchair-accessible ramps offered on the City Sightseeing Reykjavik buses and no storage for wheelchairs. Guests will be required to navigate one step to board the lower deck of the bus. Guests are able to negotiate a number of steps to the top deck.
