The Vasa Museum was designed around the warship Vasa, one of the best preserved 17th-century warships in the world.
Despite having sunk in Stockholms inner harbor on its maiden voyage in 1628, this vessel has been painstakingly restored over the years and can now be seen as the artistic masterpiece that it is.
Decorated with hundreds of intricate carvings, it is a sight to behold.
As you admire this incredible ship, you'll also learn about its building and history.
After visiting the Vasa, you'll take a stroll Djurgarden Park to see some of Stockholms other famous museums, family activities, and enjoy its green space and gardens.
