Overview

You will be collected from the port of Sorrento and board your private transport for a full day ashore!

Your tour will commence with an hours journey to Pompeii, where you will stop for around 2 hours to visit the famous ruins and historical UNESCO world heritage site. Learn all about the lost city buried by the ash of Mount Vesuvius when it erupted in 79 AD.

Your professional guide will be with your throughout your day, including your tour in Pompeii and will be with you to help purchasing your tickets and the queue. Your guide will share all the information and stories about this wondrous city!.

There is a short comfort break of around 20 minutes at Pompeii, there are restrooms on site and time to pick up a souvenir from this ancient city! From here you will board your transport for a beautiful drive along the Amalfi Coast, which is said to be one of the most spectacular coastal roads in Europe. There will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way and chances to stop and take in the wonderful scenery.

Finally your will stop in Sorrento, where you will enjoy some free time to explore the area, souvenir shop and try the local produce of Sorrento. This area is particularly famous for lemons and Limoncello - which is a very tasty lemon liqueur.

Your tour will end with a drive back to Sorrento Port, with plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.

There is a lot of walking within this tour, especially in Pompeii - there is uneven surfaces, cobbled walkways and steps, please wear suitable and comfortable footwear.
