Overview
You will be collected from the port of Sorrento and travel to the famous historical city of Pompeii, where you will be taken on a journey back in time through the ruins of Pompeii, a town which was completely covered in 30 feet of volcanic ash from the deadly eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD.
You will be able to spend your time at your leisure, you can buy your tickets on arrival. Generally we recommend around 2 hours in Pompeii before moving on to your tour.
The tour will commence to the beautiful town of Positano, where you can take in the picturesque surroundings and landscape of this admirable area as we drive into this ancient port town. This is the perfect place to sample the local delicacies, your driver guide will point out the best places to have a coffee, snack or a delicious meal.
After lunch the tour will continue to Ravello, a quaint rural village perched on a hillside, completely unspoiled by tourism, truly a breath taking way of ending this informative and scenic tour.
This is a private tour so you will be able to adjust the itinerary according to your requirements.
At the end of your memorable tour, your transportation will drop you off at your cruise port.
