Overview
You will be met at the port by a Venture Ashore representative ready to start your tour.
Your Villefranche tour begins with a visit to the traditional medieval village of Eze. Here you can enjoy the atmosphere which is steeped in history and has a sense of timelessness about it. With stunning views across the French Riviera, this is a wonderful start to your Monaco tour.
From Eze, the next stop is Fragonard where you are invited in to view the perfume factory. This is an interesting stop and has plenty of delightful aromas to savor too! From Fragonard, we then drive through the pretty village of La Turbie with its well-known Trophy of the Alps before reaching the luxurious principality of Monaco.
As you arrive in Monaco, the views are simply stunning! First, you will make your way to the lavish Prince Palace with its grand architecture. Arriving just in time to watch the changing of the guards which takes place at precisely 11:55 am (depending on timing scheduled cannot be guaranteed) and is the highlight of the Monaco tour. And there is still plenty more to enjoy before your tour finishes.
You will have the opportunity to see the wonderful Monaco Cathedral, a definite photo opportunity, plus taking time to see the Monte Carlo casino. For a chance to relax and enjoy the lush greenery, enjoy a stop at the Monaco gardens. And last (but not least) the Monaco tour would not be complete without a visit to the world-class Grand Prix circuit. One to tick off your bucket list!
At the end of your tour, you will be returned to your cruise port.
During the Grand Prix and Historical Grand Prix, it will not be possible to do the itinerary of the tour. In these cases, the tour will change to include St Paul de Vence, Cannes & Antibes.
